Darlene has been a practicing therapist since 2004, and has worked in a variety of settings and with a vast range of populations (from young children to adults). She has worked in child protection, criminal justice and law enforcement, specializing in the recovery of trauma, attachment issues, depression and anxiety.
As a psychotherapist, her core belief is that every individual possesses the inherent capacity for growth and healing, and she feels her role is to support them in navigating life’s challenges with compassion and insight. With a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of the human experience, she is dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional well-being, self-discovery, and personal empowerment, regardless of age.
