Lauren, with nearly ten years experience as a massage therapist in Nova Scotia and abroad, doesn’t like that bios are almost always written in the third person…so I’m not doing it that way.

I’m a firm believer that every "body" is different - which means it requires an individualized and unique approach. Over the years, I’ve collected an assortment of treatment techniques and methods ranging from deep tissue and sports massage, to energy work. The goal is to keep people moving, and moving happily.

I began my journey into body work when I accidentally discovered a love of dance. Learning to move in my own body led to wanting to know how it all worked; being surrounded by so many different bodies taught me that everyone moves in a different, beautiful way. Since graduating from ICT Northumberland in 2016, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a myriad of different clients - from professional athletes, to spa work, to your “everyday, average bear”. What I’ve learned to be key is LISTENING. So I suppose that’s my “treatment style” - listening….to the words, but also to the body. We’ll figure out your recipe for success together. Part of what I love about my work is helping people understand their bodies, and how they can get the most out of them. Knowledge is power! 

In her spare time, Lauren can be found tending her very needy plant collection, concocting something strange in her kitchen, enjoying cheesy horror movies a bit too much, and dancing (without caring if anyone is watching). She also has a fairly dry sense of humor, and hopes to see you soon.
